Bug & Bell at the farmer's market

Last Thursday my dear husband took off work to watch the girls while I set up my Bug & Bell booth at a local farmers market in our area. (I love him! He is such a supportive and helpful husband who is perfectly happy to clean the house and cook us delicious meals while I finish up a project.)

Here is our booth - lookin' like a circus and attracting all the kids!

Anyway, we had lots of fun and met lots of awesome customers and I just want to say THANK YOU!  Thank you to our new customers! And most importantly - thank you to my Mom, Pop, Gram, and again my husband for all pitching in and helping me out. I surely could not have done it with out you.

I'm slowly adding all of the items that have been on the blog recently and in the photos above to the Bug & Bell etsy shop, so pop over and take a look (if you feel like it)!

Apron Tops & Pinafores

Okay, it's crunch time, the Livingston Farmer's Market is in 2 days.. I shouldn't even be on the computer, I have so many things to do! But I just wanted to show you what I've been working on.........

The most darling little apron tops and pinafores! Could there be anything cuter for summer? I don't think so!

For more photos and updates check out my Bug & Bell facebook page. And also, I'm so fancy that I just got my own email address ~ so if you would like to inquire about anything you see, please email me at bugandbell@gmail.com.

Thanks and I hope to see you at the Farmer's market on Thursday night, if you live in the area!

Today my 70s Wet Bar Makeover is featured on Belle Maison, and I'm beyond excited! Thank you to Julie for including me - she has a great blog for anyone who loves interior design and I often go there for my 'design fix'!

If you are a Belle Maison reader who is stopping by, then Hello and welcome to Girl in the Gray House! For the past few weeks I've been busily sewing clothes for my new clothing line called Bug & Bell, so the last few posts are dominated by children's clothing. But if you came here to see more posts on Interior Design, then check out some of my older posts featuring some design projects and furniture makeovers:

Menagerie Sundress

Do you remember these little birdies

Well they are now perfectly at home on a white linen sundress!

I had my cella-bell try it on after bath time the other night, the birds were still waiting  to have their beaks an eyes hand-stitched. Lucky for them I sewed them on while watching a movie with my main man!

~ Here are some photos of the birds up close ~

I will have 2 of these charming little dresses for sale at the Livingston Farmers Market, both are size 3 (but my daughter is wearing one and she is 4 - it is pretty roomy). After the farmers market on May 17th, I'll be selling them in my etsy shop.

The fabric used to make the birds varies from dress to dress - so you can be sure your little one will always have an original creation!

{A cella-original pose!}

P.S. I just created a Bug & Bell facebook page, so stop by and give me a LIKE if you like! ;)

The Fern Nelle

The girls woke up at 5 on this lovely Saturday morning so I thought while they're watching toons, I could show you a new dress!

Here she is ~ the Fern Nelle! Oh how I love this dress with its sweet silhouette.

This is my new favorite dress to make, the pattern is by Brownie Goose, and it is seriously just so cute and fun! My favorite patterns are vintage which is why I like the Brownie Goose patterns - they have a retro feel but with modern instructions. The perfect combo!

I'll have a few for sale at the Livingston Farmers Market on May 17th (near Madison, MS). Check out the Livingston facebook page for more information.

If you live in the area, you should come!!
